Create the paint effect of your choice as a background using Frenchic chalk paints and then get creative with any of the IOD stamps. Using IOD stamps to revamp coasters

DIY coaster makeover I had a few Christmas coasters left over in the shop stock so decided to revamp them using Frenchic Paint and IOD decor stamps. I chose Wedding Cake as the background colour and the Bohemia stamp with black ink for the print. Here's a quick video of the process. Once complete, and dry, I sealed the coaster with Frenchic Finishing Coat to give it a water resistant finish.

  Doodledash Image Transfer Tips - using Frenchic Finishing Coat  Firstly, paint your project with the colour of your choice from the Frenchic Chalk & Mineral paint range. Seal your piece, with Frenchic Finishing Coat, and allow to dry. Sealing first will allow you to complete the image transfer process without damaging your paintwork as you go. Before you paint with Frenchic: One of the beauties of Frenchic is that you don't need to use a primer before painting but you DO need to prep! By that I mean that your item needs to be clean and keyed, be it a PVC door, kitchen cupboards, Grandma's old bureau or your Ikea table. The rule of thumb is to wash with sugar soap to rid of dirt, grease, grime, nicotine etc, rinsing well and thoroughly drying then lightly sand using a fine grade sandpaper or sanding sponge to 'key' the paint (to enable it to adhere).
